Housing Statistics For Loudoun County Virginia
As real estate professionals we are always looking for trends and cycles in the housing industry specifically in Northern Virginia. While researching SOLD homes in Loudoun County as of March 14, 2018, we looked at housing that has SOLD in the past 30 days. Since the statistics come out publically a bit delayed we thought we would share some of them now.
The criteria for this specific post was single family detached homes that have Sold (went to closing) the past 30 days. We found that 189 fit that criteria and in looking more closely it became apparent that Location has the biggest impact on price. Not a shock there but, a little surprising that you can (or some people did) buy a single family house for $149,900with the next lowest price being at $395,900. There were 13 other homes sold in the 300’s.
This exercise did not take into account the square footage of the house nor the size of the lot. Just raw data on what has sold that is detached and located in Loudoun County. Out of the 189 houses that sold we broke them up into 3 segments by list price $500K and less, $500k to $700k and $700k plus.

- $500,000 and less 55 homes Sold in this category
- $500,000 to $700,000 83 homes sold in this category
- $700,000 and more 51 homes Sold in this category
