What is happening in the Northern Virginia Housing Market?
Check out the statistics year to date for Northern Virginia as of the end of November 2018. The average price of a home in Northern Virginia is up 3.1% from the same time in 2017 making the average price of a sold home coming in at $529,910.

The most affordable NOVA County to purchase a home is Prince William County. The average price for a home was $391,984, up 4.3% from 2017. Fauquier County homes are now more expensive than Prince William County with an average selling price of $457,281. Fairfax County came in an average selling price of$578,235 and Loudoun at $523,176.
Will the increase continue into 2019? These numbers are a reflection of homes that mostly went under contract 45-60 days prior so they went into contract September time frame.
