Northern Virginia housing Statistics for January 2016 are out. Homes that were sold in 2016 are up from January 2015, by 3.6%. there were 1,774 homes that closed last month.
As of February 1, 2016 there is 2.2 months supply of homes for sale in Northern Virginia. That is a very low number. Broken down further this means that if another home in Northern Virginia did not go up for sale than there would be nothing for a prospective buyer to buy after 6 weeks.
